Wonderland Studio is a private one chair studio salon located in downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania - owned and operated by Rachel Turley.
Rachel has always been someone seen as an outcast, marching to the beat of her own drum. When she opened Wonderland Studio, her goal was to create a space for people to be themselves, no matter what that looks like.
Rachel believes that all people should be welcomed with kindness and compassion. With hard work, honesty, skill and creativity, Rachel strives to make hair dreams come true. Her goal is to have you walk out of the salon confident to take on your day knowing that you look beautiful.
Growing up an artist, Rachel started coloring her own cotton candy hair at 14 years old. This turned into a passion that eventually lead her to Jean Madeline Aveda Institute for cosmetology where she graduated in 2009. She immediately started working a high end salon in Chester County, PA where she furthered her training and worked behind the chair for 11 years before deciding to open Wonderland Studio on December 1, 2020 in West Chester, PA. She then moved the studio to Glen Mills, PA in late 2022 before making her return to her new location in West Chester, PA in May of 2026.
Rachel currently lives in Chester County with her loving husband, son and pet parakeets. Along with her passion for hair, she is a Travel Agent (since 2014). When she’s not cruising around the world or strolling in Disney World taking photos in front of the castle, you may find her at a hard rock concert or hanging out with her family.
